Robert Napier, Chairman, The Met Office
Chairman of the Met Office since October 2006, Napier has been tirelessly involved with its contribution to the climate change debate. "We need to make sense of this challenge - not to scare or alarm but to present with scientific validity the probabilities of what might happen," he has said. Previously, he was Chief Executive of WWF UK, and spent 16 years at Redland plc, where he was successively Financial Director, Managing Director and Chief Executive.
