Speaker Biography
Gary Hoffman, Group Vice Chairman, Barclays
Hoffman joined the bank as a graduate in 1982 and has held a variety of
management positions and project leadership roles, including Chairmanship
of Barclaycard. He became Group Vice Chairman a year ago and is responsible
for areas including corporate responsibility, public policy, equality and
diversity, leading the Group's response to the FSA's Treating customers
fairly initiative, chairing the Group's Governance and Control Committee
and managing the perceptions of the Group among customers, employees and
communities.
